A farmer has been killed and his brother seriously injured after being attacked by a bull.
The dead man, aged in his 60s, suffered fatal injuries on the family farm in the townland of Toulett between Burt and Newtowncunningham in Co Donegal.
Gardai said the alarm was raised when the two men were found on their land by another man, believed to be a cousin, at about 2.30pm.
The injured brother, also believed to be aged in his 60s, was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.
The men are well known in the Burt area with a large extended family and farm hilly land a few hundred metres from Grianan of Aileach hill fort.
